CHARDONNAY

VIGNETI DELLE DOLOMITI IGT

ALCOHOL CONTENT 12.5%
About CHARDONNAY
Chardonnay is one of the international varietals which adapts itself best to the different microclimates of our regions lying at the foot of the Dolomites. Chardonnay was introduced from Burgundy at the end of the 19th century and found an ideal environment in our region’s hilly areas. The unique cultivation of these vineyards with Pergola gives this wine a vast bouquet of fragrances and aromas.
CHARDONNAY
Vinified from estate grapes sustainably grown on the Alpine hills at the foot of the Dolomites. Vineyards are at altitudes of between 200 and 500 meters above sea level. Traditional white wine vinification with brief contact with the skin ensures the transfer of the grape’s aromas and characteristics to the wine. Followed by a controlled fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness.
Colour: straw yellow.
Fragrance: elegant and fruity bouquet with hints of red and yellow apples, apricot, white melon and citrus fruits.
Flavour: dry, well-structured, lovely citrus fruit with a balanced acidity.
Excellent as an aperitif, it also pairs with tomato-based appetizers, creamy soups, risottos, creamy and mild cheeses like Brie or Fontina and shellfish.
